HENDERSON, KY - Carl Wayne Butler, 76 of Henderson, KY, formerly of Clay, KY passed away Monday July 23, 2012 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY.

He was a member of Greater Norris Baptist Church and a member of the Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parent Lofton and Oria Butler, 1 brother Encil Butler and 1 sister Mina Sur Grote.

He is survived by 2 sisters Stella Brown of Salem, KY and Clara Hillyard of Newburgh, IN., Many Nieces and Nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday July 28, 2012 11:00 AM at Greater Norris Baptist Church in Henderson, KY with Rev. Charles Johnson officiating and burial to follow at 2:00 PM at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Clay, KY.

Memorial contributions may be made to Greater Norris Baptist Church Building fund, 907 Washington St., Henderson, KY 42420.

Funeral arrangements are handled through Vanover Funeral Home.
