Nadine May (nee Hungate) Nunn, age 93, of Sebree, KY

SEBREE, KY - Nadine May (nee Hungate) Nunn, age 93, of Sebree, KY, formerly of Henderson, KY and Evansville, IN, cast loose the shackles of this life for the joy and anticipation of the next at 8:00 AM, Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Colonial Terrace, Sebree, KY. She passed away peacefully in her sleep.
She was born on February 1st, 1919 to the union of Paul and Catherine Hungate of Evansville Indiana. In her long and eventful life, she had activities that ranged from being a housewife and mother to working in the production planning department at the Evansville shipyard in World War II. She was also active in the Grand Army of the Republic, Farragut Corps, Women's Auxiliary until the 1960's.
Mrs. Nunn was preceded by her husbands Clifford Markham, Onis Fuqua, and Jack Nunn.

Survivors include: 1 Son: Paul Markham; 2 Daughters: Gloria Fark husband Karl, Karen Markham-Athippozhy and husband Thomas All of Evansville, IN; 1 Brother: Melvin P. Hungate Naperville, IL; 4 Grandchildren: Kathy Rosa, Anna Zellerino, and Rachael Athippozhy All of Evansville, Antony Athippozhy Lexington Ky, 2 Great-Grandchildren, Many Nieces and Nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Larry McBride at 12:00 PM, August 1, 2012 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Henderson, KY. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery, Henderson, KY.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday and from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM on Wednesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY.

A Prayer Service will be held 6:00 PM, July 31, 2012 at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home.
