Carl Johnson 89, of Dixon, KY

WEBSTER COUNTY, KY - Carl Johnson, 89, of Dixon, KY passed away on Monday morning at the West KY Veterans Center in Hanson, KY.

He was retired from the KY Dept of Transportation after 15 years of service. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Gen Baptist Church where he served as a trustee for over 20 years. He also was on the Cemetery board at the church. He was a WWII Army Veteran and he loved farming and his Dalmatian Dogs.

He was preceded in death by one sister Dorothy Townsend, three brothers Clifton, Lasco, and W.R. Johnson. Survivors include his wife Wilma Sue Johnson of Dixon, KY; a caretaker Raegina Scott of Poole, KY; one brother Cletus Johnson of Evansville, IN and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 10AM on Friday Aug 3 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Sam Beeny will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery where Hopkins County Honor Guard will perform Military Rites.

Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Thursday at the funeral home and from 8am until service time Friday.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Mt. Lebanon Cemetery Fund c/o Linda Vincent Treasurer P.O. Box 378 Robards, KY 42452.
