WEBSTER COUNTY, KY - Melvin Douglas Sr., 70 passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012 at his home in Wheatcroft, KY.

He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Clay, KY. He was retired from Peabody Coal Company. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by 2 granddaughters Keyleigh Douglas and Saria Douglas in 2004

He is survived by his wife of 43 years Mary Douglas of Wheatcroft, KY., 2 Daughters Faith Miller and Shirley Miller both of Wheatcroft, KY. 2 Sons Melvin Douglas, Jr. and Derrick Douglas both of Wheatcroft, KY

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church in Clay, KY burial will be in #7 Cemetery in Clay, KY where military rites will be conducted.

Friends may call after 12:00 PM on Wednesday til service time at the Grace Baptist Church in Clay, KY. Vanover Funeral Home in Clay KY is in charge of all the arrangements.
