William Gwin (Billy) Thomasson, 86, of Onton, KY

WEBSTER COUNTY, KY - William Gwin “Billy” Thomasson, 86, of Onton, KY, passed away 11:50 p.m. Sunday September 16, 2012 at Redbanks Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Sebree, KY.

He was born February 11, 1926, in Anton, KY to James P. Thomasson, Sr. and Nora A (Thompson) Thomasson.

He was retired from Chrysler, a member of Onton United Methodist Church, a WWII US Army Air Corp veteran, a chairman at Onton Cemetery for over 30 years, and head usher at Onton Methodist Church for over 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Naomi Perrin and Viva Lee Parker.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Elaine (Roland) Thomasson; one daughter, Karen and her husband Maurice Forker of Sebree, KY; two sons, Tommy and his wife Annette Thomasson of Onton, KY, and Kerry and his wife Kathy Thomasson of Onton, KY; five grandchildren, Scott Padfield, Amy Nguyen, Kyle Thomasson, Valerie Wealing, Kylnn Thomasson; four great grandchildren, Mackenzie McKnight, Spencer McKnight, Emery Thomasson, and Owen Wealing; one sister, Marjorie Little of Evansville, IN; two brothers, J.P. Thomasson and Emerson Thomasson both of Onton, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday September 19, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home’s Sebree Chapel with Bro. Selby Coomer and Bro. Marty Robertson officiating.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday September 18 and 9:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday September 19, 2012 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Onton Cemetery in Onton, KY.

Memorial contributions may be made to Onton Cemetery Fund c/o 27 Melton Lane Sebree, KY.
