Beverly Kay (Momma B) Meredith

WEBSTER COUNTY, KY - Beverly Kay (Momma B) Meredith, passed away Tuesday, October 23.

Momma B beloved wife, mother, aunt and especially mother to all those in need of a special touch, received her heavenly healing and was called home on Tuesday October 23 at 5:45 AM. She was warmly welcomed by her husband, parents and sister.

She is now forever walking the streets of gold and is enjoying the place she often sang about with her family.

While on earth, she was a huge inspiration to all who crossed her path, especially to those in need of her one of a kind motherly love. Her faith in her precious Lord and Savior never wavered during her long battle with cancer.

She loved her blessed life and was happiest when she was in a church service, shopping with her girls, or cooking for and feeding her family, friends and loved ones. She dedicated her entire life to serving the Lord and blessing others with her strong faith and Christ like example.

She was born in Henderson Co. May 26, 1953 to Rufus and Grace (Wilson) Mefford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Chet Meredith and sister Ruth Ann Ranes.

She is survived by her two daughters: Elizabeth Meredith of Robards, Rachel Meredith of Robards; One sister: Mary Eastwood and husband Jim of Slaughters; Two brothers: Billy Mefford and wife Monte of Madisonville, Jim Long and wife Maria of Owensboro; Several nieces, nephews and numerous friends and loved ones.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday October 26 at Union Holiness Church in Henderson. Pastor Mark Carter will officiate.

Burial will be in Slaughters Cemetery.

Friends may be from 3:00 PM –8:00 PM Thursday at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel and 8:00 AM until service time Friday at Union Holiness Church in Henderson.

Pallbearers will be Greg Pirtle, Gabe Pirtle, Dwight Deno, Josh Sielken, Jeremy Sutton and Justin Moore. Honorary Pallbearer will be Donald Chandler.

Memorial contributions may be made to Union Holiness Church, 1515 Roosevelt St., Henderson, KY 42420 or St. Anthony’s Hospice.
