She had worked at Bohn’s Clothing Store in Henderson, KY, for several years. She was a lifelong member of Shady Grove General Baptist Church in Poole, KY, where she had been a Sunday School Teacher for many years.
Survivors include her son, Michael (Diana) Phillips of Carlisle, KY; four grandchildren, Ray (Tammy) Phillips, Patrick (Amanda) Phillips, Allison (William) Earlywine, and Jay (Michelle); four great grandchildren, Jon Devin Phillips, Lance Emory Phillips, Ansleigh June Earlywine, and Reid Howard Grant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Phillips in 1997; and a great grandchild, Dalton Phillips.
Services will be held at Shady Grove General Baptist Church in Poole, KY at 2 p.m. on Thursday. Rev. Dean Esarey will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday and from noon till service time at the church on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Shady Grove General Baptist Church 8980 Hwy 41-A North, Sebree, KY 42455.
