OWENSBORO, Ky. - Ava (Cissybug) Riley, 53 of Hartford, Ky., passed away on January 14, 2013 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on February 16, 1959 in Daviess County to the late Archie Logan Miller and surviving are her mom, Deloma Janice Stogner Miller.

She was a homemaker and loved to ride motorcycles and trikes. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, visiting with her mom, playing on the computer, bingo and crocheting.

Aside from her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Inis Lee “Junebug” Riley, Jr., and a daughter, Stormy Dawn Riley.

Surviving are her children, Inis Lee Riley, III (Katherine) of Hartford, Misty Michelle Hardesty (Charlie) of Owensboro and Windy Rene’ Parrish (William) of Sturgis, Ky; Ten grandchildren, Archie Benjamin Hardesty, Trinity Rose Marie Hardesty, Alesia Leigh Parrish, Samantha Dishon Parrish, Isis Dawn Parrish, Temprince Rene’ Parrish, Drake Lee Riley, Clayton Tyler Hallam, Inis Lee Riley, IV and Mina Jane Riley; and one brother, Thomas Archie Miller of Maceo.

Services will be at 1:00pm. Thursday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home.

Visitation at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home from 12:00 to 8:00pm. Wednesday and from 9:00 to 1:00pm. Thursday. “Papa” John Pepple will officiate.

The family requests that expression of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
