Rotary Speech Winners Awarded

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (3/18/13) – The speech topic was “service” and, in the final tabulation, Luke King won $300 and advanced to the regional Rotary Club Speech Contest.
 
King, a sophomore at Madisonville North Hopkins High school, will represent the Madisonville Rotary Club at the regional competition in Madisonville in two weeks.
 
Other cash winners were Sarah Wood (also a sophomore at North, photo center) and Cailin Wyatt (photo right) a junior at Hopkins County Central High School. Wood won $200 and Wyatt won $100.

Amy Wilkerson, Chris Wilson and Dr. Trish Jordan judged the contest.
