opd arrestlog3 300OWENSBORO, KY (4/6/2013) – The Owensboro Police Department reported the following activity for April 1 through April 5:

Owensboro Police Department this week charged an Owensboro man with one count of Sexual Abuse and one count of Sodomy.

On April 1, approximately $2,600 worth of damage was allegedly done to two automobiles at 1720 Fawn Drive. Authorities said the damage consisted of random pieces of the automobiles pulled from the interior. This case is still open at this time. Charges to be rendered could include Theft By Unlawful Taking, authorities said.

On April 2, more than $500 in equipment was reported stolen from Yellow Banks Lawn and Land Service while on a job site at 4630 Frederica Street. The theft is believed to have occurred between the hours of 11:15 and noon. The equipment, two gas powered weed-eaters, was valued at almost $700.

Police continue to search for a suspect in a robbery committed on April 2 at Cash Tyme Cash Advance, located at 527 Emory Drive. Authorities said a black male suspect entered the business and approached the counter where he demanded money. He then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount.
