Lee Edward Melton, 96, of Sebree, KY

WEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. - Lee Edward Melton, 96, of Sebree, KY passed away 2:30 AM Sunday April 14, 2013 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born September 27, 1916 in Webster County to the late Oscar and Nettie (Hankins) Melton.

He was a member of Sebree United Methodist Church and was retired from the State Highway Department and also farmed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, and 3 sisters.

He is survived by his wife Lois Maggie (West) Melton of Sebree; 1 son: Mike and his wife Phyllis Melton of Sebree; 1 daughter: Marilyn and her husband Dwayne Oldham of Sebree.

Services will be 2 PM Wednesday April 17, 2013 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree with Pastor James Shuck officiating. Burial will be in Petersburg Cemetery in Sebree.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM-2:00 PM Wednesday April 17, 2013 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sebree United Methodist Church Building Fund.
