All children between the ages of 3 and 15 are invited to attend. The competition consists of four different age groups, 3-5, 6-8, 9-11 and 12-15. There is a $1.00 pre-registration fee per child. If the child is not pre-registered, there will be a $2.00 fee on the day of the contest. The registration fee covers a T-shirt, hotdog, chips and a drink.

Prizes will be awarded for the most fish, biggest fish and smallest fish. There will also be a casting contest and a reeling contest, with prizes awarded for each age group.

Pre-registration forms may be picked up at Uncle Lee’s and all local banks. You may also print the form that accompanies this article by Clicking Here. Forms should be turned in to any local water district office or the County Clerk’s office.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Parking for the event will take place at the Ben Topmiller Baseball Park just up the bypass from Luzerne Lake. Further information may be found at www.mcparks.org.

This is an excellent opportunity to introduce a youth to the great outdoors of Kentucky.
