MCHS Fishing Team Advances to State

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (4/16/13) – The Muhlenberg County High School Fishing team had an outstanding day at Lake Barkly for the Region 1 Championship held on Saturday, April 13, 2013.

According to information provided by Coach Cody Napier, the top 14 boats made it to state out of 28 boats. MCHS Fishing team advanced more boats to state than any other team. The following are the results…
 
5th Place- Jacob Bowles and Hunter Hampton: 10lb 5oz
9th Place- Chase Geary and Billy Hardison: 8lb 3oz
12th Place- Zach Warner and Ridge Porter: 6lb 10oz
13th Place- Michale Engle and Cole Noffsinger: 5lb 11oz

The State Championship will be held on April 26th and 27th at Kenlake Marine Kentucky Lake. Weigh-in's each day will be at 3pm.
