NOW HIRING OWENSBORO 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (4/26/13) – The City of Owensboro is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time assistant city engineer. This position provides professional engineering services in areas of transportation, traffic, storm, construction, structural, environmental, private development, surveying, utilities, construction management, project management, and oversight of design projects; Monitors contractors, documentation; Conducts inspections as needed.
Requires Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university, AND Adequate knowledge/experience in specialized computer software generally used in engineering practice (such as but not limited to AutoCAD/Micro stations, ArcMap/ArcView, Eaglepoint Inroads/Inexpress), AND Engineer in Training (EIT) certification; Professional Engineer License (PE) preferred. Must obtain/maintain valid KY Professional Engineer (PE) license immediately upon employment or as otherwise notified. Valid driver’s license required.
