Jarrett (Tompkins) Higdon, 78 of Slaughters, KY

1sunsetWEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. - Jarrett (Tompkins) Higdon, 78 of Slaughters, KY passed away at 8:23 PM Saturday August 3, 2013 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson.

She was born on March 5, 1935 to the late Joe Wallace and Cosby (Todd) Tompkins.

She was a Methodist. She was retired as office manager for Crop Production Services in Clay, KY.

She is survived by 4 children; Coy (Darona) Higdon of Slaughters, KY, Candy (Jeff) Yates of Dixon, KY, Craig Higdon of Central City, KY, Chris Higdon of Slaughters, KY; Brother; Roderick (Brenda) Tompkins of Villages, FL; 11 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday August 7, 2013 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel.

Burial will be in Slaughters Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 and Wednesday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Higdon, Jarrett Higdon, Adam Yates, Tyler Miller, Patrick Howard and Patrick Clark.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Colton Howard, Kelby Howard, Landon Higdon, Carson Clark, Camden Clark, Cameron Thomas, Jaxson Bennett and Reegan Yates.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice or Slaughters United Methodist Church Building Fund.
