hend police arrest6 300HENDERSON, Ky. (8/19/13) -- The following activity was reported by the Henderson Police Department for Tues., Aug. 13 through Fri., Aug. 16:
 
A Theft By Unlawful Taking- Auto Over $10,000 was reported on Tues., Aug. 13 at 2 p.m., at the Audubon Chrysler Center. An employee of Audubon Chrysler stated sometime between July 9 and Aug. 13, a 2013 blue Dodge Ram 2500 Crew Cab Truck and a 2012 White Chrysler 200 Touring 4-door sedan were taken from the car lot. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
 
A Traffic Collision with Injury was reported on Thurs., Aug. 15 at 1:09 p.m., at the 2200 block of Old Corydon Rd. The vehicle, operated by Halley Brittain, 18, Robards, was traveling south when it suffered a mechanical failure causing Brittain to lose control of the vehicle and travel off the right shoulder of the road and into a ditch. Brittain, and passenger Justin Pruitt, 20, Henderson, were taken via ambulance for possible injuries.
 
An Accident with Injuries was reported on Fri., Aug. 16 at 11:49 p.m. at the 900 block of N. Elm St. Corey Williams, 19, Henderson, was traveling south in his green Suzuki Sidekick when he swerved to avoid a dog in the road. The vehicle went into the median and hit a light pole, which turned the vehicle upside down. Williams and passenger, Cody Gardner, 17, Henderson, were taken to the hospital.
