The Animals Need You…

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (11/1/13) - Rowdy Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill animal rescue in Slaughters, Kentucky. Since 2008, Rowdy Rescue has saved the lives of over 500 animals ranging from strays to pets in kill shelters. If you have ever had a pet you know of the unconditional love, compassion, and loyalty these furry companions bring into the lives of mankind.

Now, the animals need your compassion more than ever. During last night’s severe storms, high winds blew a sycamore tree onto five out of the six kennels on the property of Rowdy Rescue destroying them. The kennels that were destroyed housed up to eight dogs. In order for the rescue to continue to be a bridge to a new forever home for these animals, new kennels are needed ASAP.

Rowdy Rescue is always looking for people to foster as well. Fostering a pet makes such a big difference in the lives of these animals, in that it gives them a comfortable and loving temporary home.
