Henry Earl Franklin 62, of Dixon, Ky

WEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. — Henry Earl Franklin 62, of Dixon, KY passed away at the Jon Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis, MO on Wednesday Dec. 18, 2013. He was a US Marine Veteran. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for over 40 years and was a member of the VFW Post#5484 in Providence, KY. He was preceded in death by his father George Henry Franklin.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years Paula Franklin of Dixon, KY; his Mother Dorothy Franklin of Dixon, KY; one daughter Stephanie Greenwell and her husband Jeremy of Sebree, KY; one son Brian Franklin and his wife Mandee of Dixon, KY; three sisters Delois Ferguson of Evansville, IN, Martha Parrish and Sandy Turner both of Dixon, KY; four nephews and one niece and one great niece.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Chris Odle will officiate. Burial will be in Old Cedar Grove Cemetery in Tilden, KY. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. American Legion Worsham Post #40 of Henderson, KY will conduct Miltiary Rites at the graveside.
