Robert Wayne Dutton, 73 of Clay, Ky

WEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. - Robert Wayne Dutton, 73 of Clay, Ky passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, Ky.

He was a U.S. Marine. He was a coal miner and worked at Island Creek Coal and retired from Consolidated Coal. He was a member of United Mine Workers of America Local 1605. He was a member of Lone Star Pentecostal Church of Madisonville, Ky.

He was a member of American Legion. Robert was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother Nellie Francis, father William Andon and brother Guy Dutton.

He is survived by wife Edith Dutton of Clay, Ky 2 Sons DeWayne Mark Allen Dutton and Brian Thomas Dutton both of Clay, Ky 3 Sisters Marilyn Marks and Anna Lee Hendricks both of Madisonville, Ky and Sara Harper and husband Jerry of Slaughters, Ky 2 Grandchildren Bethany Ashton Dutton and Brock Andon Dutton of Clay, Ky and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 31, 2014 2:00 p.m. at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, Ky with Rev. Shelly Hendricks officiating with burial to follow in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay, Ky where military rites will be conducted at grave site.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 30, 2014 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Vanover funeral Home in Clay, Ky and Friday 8:00 a.m. til service time at the funeral home.
