Mark Douglas Hamby, 58, of Dixon, Ky

WEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. - Mark Douglas Hamby 58, of Dixon, Ky passed away at his home on Friday February 7, 2014. Mark had worked and helped found WHRZ Radio Station. He also had worked for Dotiki Mines in Webster Co. He was of the Christian Faith.

He was preceded in death by his father Billy Douglas Hamby. Survivors include his companion for 12 years Shannon Carl of Dixon, Ky; his mother Carolyn Hamby of Owensboro, Ky; 2 sons Brian Hamby of Utica, Ky and Mark L. Hamby of Henderson, Ky; 1 sister Pamela Legate of Owensboro, Ky; 5 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday February 15, 2014 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, Ky. Bro. Larry Brown will officiate. Friends may visit from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.townsendfuneralhomeinc.com
