Cadiz Police Arrest Log - February 10, 2014

cadizpolicereportPRINCETON, Ky. (2/10/14) — The Cadiz Police Department released the following reports Monday, Feb. 10.

Cadiz Police Officer Andrew Sanderson arrested Ronald Bruce, 33, of Princeton, at 1:38 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7 charging him with possession of marijuana and public intoxication.

Sanderson was investigating a report of an intoxicated person at Ferrell's.

When Sanderson located Bruce, he discovered Bruce had a partially smoked marijuana cigarette in his possession. An investigation determined that Bruce was wanted in Trigg County for failure to pay $914 in fines and restitution. Bruce was served the two Trigg District Court warrants.

Cadiz Police Officer Roger Knight arrested William T. Byarly, 22, of Cadiz at 10:50 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7 serving him a Trigg County District Court arrest warrant charging him with theft under $500 stemming from an investigation by the Trigg County Sheriff's Department.

The Cadiz Police Department is investigating a separate incident involving Byarly with more charges pending.
