Henderson County Elementary 'Ultimate AR Challenge'

Henderson Co schools logoHENDERSON, Ky. (3/28/14) - Three Henderson County elementary schools - A.B. Chandler, Cairo and Niagara - engaged in a friendly but fierce reading competition during the third grading period to see which could accumulate the most school-wide Accelerated Reading points.

Students in kindergarten through fifth grade read books and took computer-based quizzes to earn points in a contest dubbed the “Ultimate AR Challenge.”

A trophy will be presented to the winning school 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Niagara Elementary by the second and third place principals.
