gary pyleMadisonville Police arrested and charged Gary Michael Pyle with theft by unlawful taking or display shoplifting under $500 and alcohol intoxication in a public place.MADISONVILLE, Ky. (4/11/14) — Madisonville Police responded to a shoplifting complaint at the West Noel Dollar General Store Thursday, April 10.

According to a Madisonville Police report, employees observed Gary Michael Pyle, 54, remove a hair color from a box and place it in his pocket and then passed the point of payment.

Pyle placed a package of Nutrisse Hair color in his back left pant pocket, the report said.

When officers arrived, they found that Pyle appeared to be intoxicated. Pyle was unable to perform any field sobriety tests, the report said.

Pyle was charged with theft by unlawful taking or display shoplifting under $500 and alcohol intoxication in a public place.

He is currently being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
