Muhlenberg Job Corps Employee of the Month

Miranda-Hope-EOM-2014(l-r) Miranda Hope, Karen RobinsonMUHLENBERG, Ky. (4/18/14) — Miranda Hope is Student Counselor at the Muhlenberg Job Corps.

She is a very dedicated and enthusiastic employee ready to jump in and help with any situation that may arise. When someone was needed to chaperone the female students attending SGA camp, she stepped up without hesitation to volunteer. She completed her job duties on center before leaving to ensure all paperwork was finalized in a timely manner. She puts in extra hours beyond her work schedule to ensure her students get the services needed in order to be successful in the program. Hope is a definite asset to the counseling department and to the center.

Hope has also been a tremendous help with the Center’s softball league.

The Center participates in almost monthly, sometimes twice a month, tournaments for charity with our co-ed softball team. Hope has volunteered with practices and with our most recent tournament. Her participation enabled the team to participate in the last tournament due to recreation being in need of a second driver due to both buses being in use. The team would not have been able to go and participate had she not volunteered outside her job responsibilities to help. She has a great rapport with all students and really goes out of her way to help our students here on campus.

Due to all these reasons more, Miranda Hope is deserving of the recognition for the title of Muhlenberg Job Corps Employee of the Month for March 2014.
