Vonda Elaine (Settell) Donahoo, 72, of Sebree, Ky.

SEBREE, Ky. – Vonda Elaine (Settell) Donahoo, 72, of Sebree, Ky. passed away Tuesday June 3, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, Ind.

She was born in Wheatland, Wyo. on August 24, 1941 to the late Harold Hobart and Leona (Hunt) Settell. She was retired as secretary at Sebree Elementary School after over 26 years. She was also a member of Sebree First Baptist Church where she served as pianist for 43 years and was very active in other church activities and programs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Gerald Alfred, Gus, Leland and Archie Settell; and three sisters, Marie Skaggs, Iona Hoge and Aileen Gudhal.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jimmie Donahoo; two children, Dean (Jerri Lyn) Donahoo of Taylors, S.C., Theresa (Tim) Guerino of Colchester, Vt.; one granddaughter, Julia Donahoo of Taylors, S.C.; two brothers, Rand Settell of Minnesota, and Darrell Settell of Maine; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 7, 2014 at Sebree First Baptist Church. Dr. Bob Hardison will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree.

Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
