Cleda Ruth Stone, 74, of Providence, Ky.

PROVIDENCE, Ky. – Cleda Ruth Stone, 74, of Providence, Ky. passed away Friday June 13, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, Ky.

She was a member of Pentecostal Prayer Chapel in Providence, Ky.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Herman Stone of Providence, Ky.; one daughter, Brenda (William) McMican of Providence, Ky.; two sons, Allen (Karen) Stone of Providence, Ky., and Herman Dale (Debbie) Stone of Providence, Ky.; one sister, Donna Engler of Providence, Ky.; one brother, James McVay of Lisman, Ky.; six grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday June 16, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, Ky., with Bro. Darrell Gates officiating and burial to follow in Green Grove Cemetery in Providence, Ky.

Visitation will be Sunday June 15, 2014 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and Monday 8:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
