Two Busted for Meth in Central City

meth bust central cityCENTRAL CITY, Ky. (8/22/14) — Two Central City residents are in jail after Kentucky State Police obtained a search warrant and arrest warrants.

According to a KSP report, KSP along with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at the residence of James Case at about 1:35 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21. Two subjects, who had arrest warrants on them, were located inside. During the search, officers located approximately nine grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a small amount of cash.

Det. McPherson charged James Case, 28, Central City, with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense/meth (greater than eight ounces) and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense/meth (less than eight ounces.

Amanda McGehee, 35, Central Cit, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense/meth (less than eight ounces).

Case and McGehee are being lodged in the Muhlenberg Detention Center.
