MADISONVILLE, Ky. (9/2/14) — Madisonville Police officers were dispatched to Parkway Plaza Mall in reference to a harassment complaint Saturday, Aug. 30.
According to the Madisonville Police report, complainant told police that her ex-boyfriend Joshua Michael Kublin, 21, Louisville was causing a disturbance at her work and no longer wanted him there.
The victim also told officers that she was approached by a Radio Shack employee, who advised her that Kublin was observed looking at phone chargers.
Officers were notified by central dispatch that Kublin had an active warrant and was located in the mall. Officers searched Kublin and found a white phone charger in his right front pocket. The charger was identified by the Radio Shack employee as the one taken from the package a store employee discovered, the report said.
Kublin was charged with theft by unlawful taking or display shoplifting under $500 and out of county warrant for Jefferson County.He is being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
