James (Jim) Shelton, 65 of Sebree, KY

 

5sunsetSEBREE, KY - James (Jim) Shelton, 65 of Sebree, KY passed away at 1:15 PM Friday November 25, 2011 at his residence.

He was born September 8, 1946 in Webster County, KY to the late Howard Duvall and Ruby Lee (Thompson) Shelton, Jr. . He was a retired farmer.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by; 2 sisters; Dorothy Wilson and Ruby Onida Greenfield and a brother; Howard Shelton, Jr.

He is survived by his wife Diane Shelton; 2 sons; Brian Shelton and wife Carol of Henderson, KY, Scott Shelton and wife Micki of Henderson, KY; 4 brothers; Billy Wayne Shelton, Larry “T” Shelton, Douglas “Bubby” Shelton, George Shelton, All of Sebree, KY; 3 sisters; Georgie Floyd of Madisonville, KY, Sue Ballard of Sebree, KY, Judy Osborn of Sebree, KY; 6 grandchildren; Tommy Smith, Zachary Shelton, Lacey Shelton, Libby Shelton, Hanna Shelton and Bella Shelton; Several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday November 29, 2011 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Bro. Dennis Mosby will officiate.

Burial will be in Smith Mills Cemetery in Smith Mills, KY

Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 and Tuesday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be; Zachary Shelton, Tommy Smith, David Shelton, Dustin Shelton, Jonny Greenfield and Donald “Bubba” Jones.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
