Vanita Nell (Fox) Goff, 73 of Sebree, KY

 

1doveSEBREE, KY - Vanita Nell (Fox) Goff, 73 of Sebree, KY passed away at 8:15 AM Saturday November 26, 2011 at her residence.

She was born in Muhlenberg County, KY on September 3, 1938 to the late Everett and Ruth Edna (Rash) Fox. She was a homemaker and had worked as a cook at Family Diner in Madisonville, KY. She was also a member of Slaughters Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Alan Ray Goff, and a brother Roy Earl Fox.

She is survived by her husband, Chester Goff 2 sons; Terry Barnes of Mortons Gap, KY, Jeff Goff of Evansville, IN; 3 Daughters; Clarissa Moseley of Sebree, KY, Kathy Thomasson of Slaughters, KY, Brenda Parker of Sebree, KY; 4 Brothers; John Wallace Fox of Hartford, KY, Leon Fox of Nortonville, KY, Ricky Fox of Nortonville, KY, Timmy Fox of Dawson Springs, KY; 9 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday November 29, 2011 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel. Rev. Marty Robertson and Rev. Terry Barnes will officiate.

Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 and Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Onton Cemetery in Onton, KY Pallbearers will be; Christopher Barnes, Bryan Goff, Chet Goff, Kyle Thomasson, Richard Choate and Teresa Campbell.

Memorial contributions may be made to St Anthony’s Hospice.
