Ronnie Rich, 58, Clay, formerly of Sturgis

obit9CLAY — Ronnie Rich, 58, Clay, formerly of Sturgis, passed away Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at his residence.

He was a retired conservation officer with Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Rich.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Peak Rich; his mother, Martha Jean Rich of Sturgis; one daughter, Candice Rich of Corydon; one son, Byron Rich of Huntsville, Ala.; one sister, Linda Fabin of Henderson; one brother, Caroll Rich of St. Louis; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis. The Rev. Freddie Bryd will officiate. Burial will be in Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Outdoor Dream Foundation, P.O. Box 802, Anderson, SC 29622.
