Edna Louise Overfield, 88, Clay

obit6CLAY, KY - Edna Louise Overfield, 88, Clay, passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.

She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Clay.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lank, who passed away in 1993; and one daughter, Sharon Williams, who passed away in 2005.

Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Harvey and Dianne Kuykendall, both of Clay, and Carol Turner of Dixon; one son, Stanley Overfield of Clay; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Clay. Brother Jeff McMain will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Clay.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to First Baptist Church or a favorite charity.
