Sarah E. DeMoss, 92, Sturgis

 

obit17STURGIS, KY - Sarah E. DeMoss, 92, Sturgis, passed away at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at Morganfield Nursing and Rehab in Morganfield.

She was a member of DeKoven Methodist Church in DeKoven.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence DeMoss, who passed away in 1979, and one son, James "Jimmy" DeMoss, who passed away in 1995.

Survivors include one son, the Rev. Mike DeMoss of Sturgis; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis. The Rev. Dale Ford will officiate. Burial will be in Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
