Frances S. Mooney, 83, Dixon

DIXON, KY - Frances S. Mooney, 83, Dixon, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at her residence.

She retired from the Webster County Health Department after several years of service as a community outreach worker.

She was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ in Dixon and a member of the Dixon Homemakers Club.

She was the daughter of the late James O. and Ida Lucille Sigler.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary Lou Mooney; one sister, Jimmie Lou Watson; two brothers, George Allen and Billy O. Sigler.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald Mooney and his wife, Suzette, and Doug Mooney, both of Dixon; one sister, Mary Sigler Keutzer of Brandon, Miss.; one brother, Jerry W. Sigler of Indianapolis; one grandson, Adam Mooney and his wife, Dawn, of Nashville; one great-grandson, Patrick; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dixon. Dr. Bill Keutzer, Minister Bill Williams and Minister Rex Childs will officiate.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice, 2410 S. Green St., Henderson, KY 42420.
