SEBREE, KY - Eva Christine Cottingham, age 89, of Sebree, KY. passed away at 1:25 AM, Sunday, January 22, 2012, at Methodist Hospital, Henderson, Ky.

Mrs. Cottingham was preceded in death by her parents: Auburn Puryear and Ella Spencer Puryear, her sister: Lockie Watson and a son: Dr.Auburn (A.B.) Cottingham.

Mrs. Cottingham held a Bachelor's Degree and was a homemaker. She was a member of Poole Church of Christ.

Survivors include: Husband of 66 years: Thomas Mahlon Cottingham; 1 Son: Dr. Tim Cottingham and wife Karen of Sebree, KY; 1 Daughter: Leva Duckworth and husband John of Nashville, TN; 1 Sister: Mary Dilger of Newburgh, IN; 5 Grandchildren: Cameron Cottingham and wife Laura of Nashville, TN, Ashley Mathis and husband Neal of Henderson, KY., Lauren Cottingham of Sebree, KY., Jordan Cottingham of Sebree, KY., Courtney McCormack and husband Greg of Nashville, TN.; 2 Great Grandchildren: Molly Mathis of Henderson, KY., Adri Cottingham of Nashville, TN.; and Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Tapp Funeral Home, Henderson, KY. Gary Puryear and Bill Doyle will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery, Poole, KY.

Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Wednesday at Tapp Funeral Home, Henderson, Ky.
