Joyce Ann Owens, age 71, of Dixon, KY

 

DIXON, KY - Joyce Ann Owens, age 71, of Dixon, KY, passed away at 10:35 AM, Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at her home under St. Anthony's Hospice.

Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Sylvia Stone Shelton.

She was a member of Kindred Spirits Church, and of the Pentecostal faith. Mrs. Owens was a homemaker.

Survivors include: Husband of 24 years: Dorris Owens Dixon, KY; 4 Sons: Ronald Gish Henderson, KY, Donald Gish, Roger Gish, Paul David Gish All of Sebree, KY; 4 Step-Sons: Ray Owens, Vincent Owens, and Jackie Owens All of Dixon, KY, Wayne Owens Henderson, KY; 3 Daughters: Patricia Gish Henderson, KY, Diana Robbins Wheatcroft, KY, Cynthia Rice OH; 2 Step-Daughters: Sheila Thompson Dixon, KY, Peggy Posey Cairo, KY; 2 Sisters: Brenda Pippin Henderson, KY, Freda Rigdon Henderson, KY; 16 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; Several Step-Grandchildren & Step-Great Grandchildren; Many Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 27, 2012 at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, Ky. Reverend Gerald Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Old Cedar Grove Cemetery, Tilden, KY.

Friends may call from 3:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Friday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY.
