OWENSBORO, KY (1/30/12) – On Sunday, Jan. 29, the Kentucky State Police Post 16 responded to the scene of an alleged accident at the intersection of KY 54 and Collier Road.
 
Once on the scene Troopers found that 46-year-old Sheila Howard of Fordsville, KY had been driving a 2001 Dodge Durango westbound on KY Highway 54. Howard attempted to turn left onto Collier rd. in Eastern Daviess County. As Howard turned, her vehicle was struck in the passenger side by a Mercury Sable operated by 41-year-old Alice Scheidell of Falls of Rough, KY.
 
Scheidell’s passenger, Johnny Scott was transported by Daviess County Yellow Ambulance to Owensboro Medical Health System with non-life-threatening injuries.
