OWENSBORO, KY (1/30/12) – On Sunday, January 29, 2012, at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Owensboro Police Department (OPD) initiated a warrant check at 700 Amherst Drive.
Once on the scene, officers located Michael Dockery and Ashley Shown at the residence, and also detected a strong chemical smell coming from inside. Officers secured the home, and alerted the Street Crimes Unit.
Street Crimes detectives obtained a search warrant for the home, and that search revealed several items indicative with the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
Following the investigation, both subjects were arrested on the below charges, and were lodged at the Daviess County Detention Center.

• Poss. of Marijuana – Class B Misdemeanor
• Drug Paraphernalia-Buy/Possess – Class A Misdemeanor
