PADUCAH, KY (2/1/12) - The Murray State men’s tennis team will be playing three matches in as many days this weekend both at the Kenlake Tennis Center and at The Racquet Club in Memphis, Tenn.
The Racers (0-1) will first host Abilene Christian, Friday, Feb. 3 at 9 a.m. at the Kenlake Tennis Center in Aurora, Ky. MSU will then travel to play East Carolina, Saturday, Feb. 4 at 2 p.m. and Memphis, Sunday, Feb. 5 at 9 a.m. at The Racquet Club.
Friday’s match will be the first for the Wildcats on the season, who finished 20-10 overall and 3-0 in the Lone Star Conference in 2010-11. The Pirates are 2-1 on the season and will be play three times before facing MSU in Memphis.
The Tigers are currently 3-0 on the season and will play East Carolina before battling with the Racers. Memphis has already faced one team from the Ohio Valley Conference this season, earning a 6-1 win over Tennessee Tech.
