Bomb Threat at Calloway Middle School

 

bombthreatCALLOWAY COUNTY, KY (2/2/12) – Kentucky State Police and other local law enforcement responded the Calloway County Middle School early Wednesday afternoon after reports that a bomb might be inside the building.
 
Officers were called to the school just after 2:30 PM. Students were evacuated to the high school to allow for responding officers to do a search of the middle school facility.
 
Officers searched the building and did not locate any item suspected of being an explosive device.
 
Kentucky State Police continue to investigate the origin of the threat.
