Murray Men’s Tennis Falls to No. 43 Memphis

 

racers tennis3MURRAY, KY (2/6/12) - The Murray State men’s tennis team fell to No. 43 Memphis, 7-0, at The Racquet Club in Memphis, Tenn. The match was the third-straight in as many days for the Racers (0-4), who will now be idle until Feb. 24.
 
Sophomore Arthur Valle and freshman Daniel Heibel combined at No. 1 singles and fought hard against 47th-ranked David O’Haire and Joe Salisbury, falling 8-4. Valle then lost 6-3, 6-2 against O’Hare (No. 50) at No. 1 singles.
 
The Racers will be idle until Feb. 24 when they will host Western Kentucky at the Kenlake Tennis Center in Aurora, Ky.
