Junior Alexis Love is the top returner from a season ago, having placed second in the 200 and fourth in the 60. Senior Lexie Barr claimed sixth in the pole vault for the Racers, while sophomore Katie Forshey was eighth in the high jump and senior Kayla Crusham was eighth in the 5,000.

Heading into this weekend’s competition, five MSU athletes are ranked in the top-5 in six events among OVC participants. Love enters the championship with the top times in both the 60 and the 200. Forshey is tied for the top spot in the high jump and freshman Tonia Pratt is first in the weight throw. Sophomore Sharda Bettis is currently third on the list for the 60 hurdles, with freshman LaShea Shaw fifth on the same list.
