PADUCAH, KY (2/3/12) – On January 30, 2012, a parent contacted the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department regarding an XBOX 360 and digital camera that was found in his child’s bedroom. The parent contacted the sheriff’s department because he believed the items may have been stolen.
Later that same evening, Lois Rogers contacted the sheriff’s department to report a burglary to her home, 3553 Clinton Road. Rogers reported an XBOX 360 and a digital camera had been stolen from the home.
Upon further investigation, it was determined the burglary was connected to the Xbox which was discovered by the student’s parent. It was later determined that the parent who originally contacted the sheriff’s department was correct in his assumption and his child was involved, along with two other juveniles.
On January 26, 2012, the three juveniles skipped school and burglarized Rogers’ home by entering an unlocked door. It was determined that other items were taken from the home, including jewelry and cell phones.
On February 2, 2012, two of juveniles were taken into custody and charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Theft by Unlawful Taking over 500.
On this date, an additional juvenile was taken into custody and charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Theft over $500.
