Two-Vehicle Accident on Lone Oak Road Results in Injuries

 

car crash 300PADUCAH, KY (2/6/12) - At 4:39 pm on Sunday, Jan. 5, Sheriff's Deputies responded 3440 Lone Oak Road for a two-vehicle accident with injuries.
 
Investigation showed that 22-year-old Elizabeth McBride of Paducah was operating a 2000 white Buick Regal passenger-car traveling eastbound on Cave Thomas Dr. attempting to cross Lone Oak Road to get onto Brett Chase Rd. As McBride was crossing Lone Oak Road, she made contact with a 2007 silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck operated by 58-year-old Robert Poat of Paducah, who was traveling northbound on Lone Oak Road.
 
McBride was taken by Mercy Ambulance services to Western Baptist hospital for apparent minor injuries.
 
The McCracken County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the scene by the Lone Oak Fire Department and Mercy Ambulance Services.
