Paducah Woman Hits Parked Vehicle, Fights with Police

wallace arrestPADUCAH, KY (2/13/12) – On February 11, 2012 at approximately 9:20 PM, deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department responded to 1330 Creekview Cove in reference to a female running her vehicle into a residence.
 
Upon arrival, it was determined that Amberly Wallace, 31, of Paducah, had driven her 2011 Ford Escape into a parked vehicle in the driveway of 1330 Creekview Cove. The parked vehicle then struck a utility trailer and went through the closed door of a detached garage of the residence. The parked vehicle then struck a separate parked vehicle inside the garage that was in the process of being restored. Initial estimates of damage are approximately $40,000.00.
 
Deputies made contact with Wallis and were in the process of investigating the incident when Wallace attempted to fight with Deputy Lindsey Miller. During the altercation, Wallis spat on deputies as she fought. Wallis was eventually subdued and arrested.
 
The investigation showed that Wallis was operating the motor vehicle under the influence of drugs/alcohol.
 
Deputies were assisted at the scene by Mercy Regional Medical and the Reidland Fire Dept.
 
Wallis was lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
