Two Vehicle Collision with Injuries on Husbands Rd and Interstate 24

 

accident glass 300PADUCAH, KY (2/17/12) – On Thursday at approximately 4:05 PM, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two-vehicle collision, with injury, on Husbands Road at the I-24 overpass.
 
The investigation showed that the 2000 Dodge Durango operated by 36-year-old Rebecca Wallace of Calvert City, was making a left turn, from Husbands Road, to get on the eastbound lane of I-24. Wallace did not see the 2011 Dodge Ram operated by 43-year-old Craig A. King, of Paducah, heading northbound, and pulled into his path. The impact caused both vehicles to run off the right shoulder of the roadway into a drainage ditch.
 
King and his passenger 42-year-old Angela D. King were not injured during the collision and did not seek medical treatment.
 
Wallace and her five passengers; Rachel J. Walton, Erin J. Wallace, Kimberly J. Baggett, Jessica L. Johnson, and Elyssa M. Walton, all from Calvert City, were all transported to area hospitals for treatment of their injures.
 
The Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by Mercy Regional Ambulance Service, Reidland Fire Department, Meadow’s Towing Service and Lent’s Towing Service of Calvert City.
