PADUCAH, KY (2/21/12) - The McCracken County Sheriff's Department arrested four men and one woman Monday night on Methamphetamine related offenses at an Old Mayfield Road residence in McCracken County.
 
On Feb. 20, 2012, at approximately 8:14 pm, the McCracken County Sheriff's Department received a call from an individual stating that he believed that he was having a heart attack at 6261 Old Mayfield Road. Another call came in a short time later alleging that methamphetamine activity was occurring at the same residence. When deputies arrived at the residence they observed individuals flee behind the residence. Deputies made contact with the individuals inside the residence. The man who called for assistance was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
 
While at the residence, deputies observed illegal drugs and items of drug paraphernalia in plain view at the residence. Deputies secured the residence.

A short time later, deputies heard something in the attic area. Deputies located Josh G. Ruud hiding in the attic of the residence. Deputies searched the area Ruud had been hiding in and located a bag of marijuana, a smoking pipe, blister packs from Sudafed, lithium batteries, syringes, baggies and a small quantity of Methamphetamine. Ruud was arrested.
 
Detectives with the Sheriff's Department's Drug Enforcement Unit were contacted and responded to the residence to assist in the investigation. During a search of the property around the residence, detectives locate three Methamphetamine labs inside an outbuilding. Detectives then located three black bags concealed in a wooded area near an outbuilding that contained Coleman Fuel, Ammonia Nitrate, Xylol, liquid fire, lye, salt, tubing, coffee filters and other assorted items that are commonly used to manufacture Methamphetamine.
 
A subsequent investigation by detectives revealed that the Meth making items belonged to Ruud. Earlier in the evening, Charles Travis Morehead brought Ruud to the residence with his Meth making items and received meth from him. A short time later, Joe Bundren and Brian Blake arrived at the residence and supplied Ruud with Sudafed in return for a quantity of Methamphetamine. Shayla Snelling had used Methamphetamine at the residence earlier with the men. Brian Blake was identified as the individual who had attempted to flee the area.
 
Records indicated that Joe Bundren, Charles Morehead, Brian Blake and Josh Ruud were either on felony probation or parole at the time of these new offenses from other felony offenses that they had committed in the past.
 
All five individuals were arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
