PADUCAH, KY - Robert Lee Seed, 88, of Gilbertsville, KY and native of Whiting, IN, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012 at Madisonville Regional Medical Center.
Robert was a member of Symsonia United Methodist Church and owner of Kentucky Lake Mobile Homes. He was a Duke of Paducah, Ky Colonel, Admiral of Ky, Representative to Midwest Manufactured Housing Federation and Representative for Louisville Mobile Home Show. Robert was a past president of Ky Mobile Home Association, Lifetime member of VFW, American Legion Post 31 and a member of operating Engineer Local 181. And was a U.S. Navy WWII Veteran. He enjoyed boating, fishing, bowling and dancing, playing high school basketball, coaching little league baseball and living life to the fullest.
Mr. Seed is survived by his wife Bobbie N. Gibson Seed, two daughters, Kay Lee of Boca Raton, FL, Terri Duncan, (husband, Kirk) of Murraysville, PA, one son, Steve Seed, (wife, Linda)of Paducah,KY, eight grandchildren, Austin Duncan, Davis Duncan, Danielle Duncan, Wyatt Seed, Luke Seed, Jamie Lee, Jeffrey Lee and Jarred Moss, three great grandchildren, Charles Lee, Carson Lee, Kristen Lee.
He was preceded in death by his parents: William Homer Seed & Bessie Reel Seed, and one son Jimmy Lee.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Roger Joseph and Rev. Mark Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Pinnacle Cemetery in Gilbertsville, KY with military honors.
