PADUCAH, KY - Carolyn Jane Hogancamp, 52 of Bardwell, passed away at 5:45 a.m. Sunday, at her home, after her long battle with cancer.

Janie was an active member of Mississippi Baptist Church and an Insurance Agent for Austin Insurance.

She is survived by her husband David Hogancamp, four daughters, Holly Hogancamp Byassee of Arlington, Ashley Hogancamp of Bardwell, Chrissy Hogancamp of Arlington, and Jerri Hogancamp of Clinton; five grandchildren; her mother Virginia Evans Bruer of Columbus; three sisters, Patricia Meriman of St. Elmo, IL, Connie Ellegood of Fancy Farm, and Regina Dowdy of Clinton; and three brothers, Donnie Bruer of Columbus, Ronnie Bruer of Columbus, and Gaylon Bruer of Arlington.

Janie was preceded in death by her father James Harold Bruer; one sister and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Mississippi Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Burnett and Rev. Gaylon Bruer officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until service time at the church. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell is in charge of arrangements.
