PADUCAH, KY - Daniel J. Doherty, of Paducah and a native of Milton, MA, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his home.

He attended First Christian Church in Paducah and was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church in Boston MA. He was a veteran of U.S. Marines and retired from United Postal Service.

Survivors include wife, Judy Gillespie Doherty, Aunt & Uncle, Everett & Jean Lyles, of Paducah, niece, Marsha Reynolds, Paducah,; cousins, Eva Mae McMahan & William Wentz, of VA, Sherm Lauder (Cheryl), of OK, and Michele Venable (Jay) Preceding in death were parents: Daniel Francis Doherty & Rachel Stuart Doherty, one sister, Augustas Rachel Doherty and his mother-in-law, Dorothy Helen Gillespie.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Mt. Kenton Cemetery with Rev. Mary Ann Lankton officiating. Friends may gather at the cemetery for the service.
